BEAT LICENSE AND PURCHASE AGREEMENT

This Beat License and Purchase Agreement (the "Agreement") is made and entered into as of the date of purchase, by and between BeatsForBuck.com (the "Licensor") and the purchasing party (the "Licensee"). By purchasing, leasing, or using any beat from BeatsForBuck.com, the Licensee agrees to the following terms and conditions.

 

 

1. LICENSE TYPES

1.1 Non-Exclusive (Lease) License

A Non-Exclusive License ("Lease") grants the Licensee limited rights to use the beat while allowing the Licensor to continue licensing the beat to other artists. The terms include:

  • Licensee may use the beat for commercial and non-commercial purposes, including streaming, performances, and social media.

  • Licensee may distribute up to 100,000 copies/streams of a song containing the beat.

  • Licensee may not claim ownership of the beat or register it with content identification services (e.g., YouTube Content ID, BMI, ASCAP).

  • Licensee may not resell, sublicense, or alter the beat without permission.

  • The Licensor retains full rights to the beat and can continue licensing it to other artists.

1.2 Exclusive (Buyout) License

An Exclusive License grants the Licensee full rights to use the beat. Once purchased, the beat is removed from the store and no longer available to other customers. The terms include:

  • Licensee gains unlimited commercial rights to distribute, perform, and monetize the song.

  • Licensee may register the beat with content identification services and claim royalties.

  • Licensee may modify, edit, or alter the beat as needed.

  • The Licensor retains producer credit but will not sell or lease the beat to anyone else.

 

 

2. COPYRIGHT & OWNERSHIP

  • The Licensor retains full copyright ownership of the beat unless an exclusive buyout is purchased.

  • Licensee must provide proper credit to the Licensor: "Produced by [Producer’s Name] (BeatsForABuck.com)" in all song releases.

  • Unauthorized use of the beat outside the agreed terms will result in legal action.

 

 

3. PAYMENT & DELIVERY

  • Payment must be made in full before the Licensee receives the beat.

  • Beats are delivered in high-quality WAV and MP3 format. Stems are available for exclusive purchases.

 

 

4. INDEMNIFICATION

The Licensee agrees to indemnify and hold the Licensor harmless from any claims, damages, or legal disputes arising from the use of the beat.

 

 

5. TERMINATION

The Licensor reserves the right to terminate a Lease License if the Licensee violates the terms of this Agreement. Exclusive Licenses are permanent once purchased.

 

 

6. AGREEMENT ACCEPTANCE

By purchasing, leasing, or using any beat from BeatsForABuck.com, the Licensee acknowledges and agrees to abide by these terms.
